Application for providing information on tourist attractions in Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency based on Android

Abstract

Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency is one of the districts in South Kalimantan, Indonesia, with many tourist attractions. Tourist attractions managed by the private sector or by the district government or village government. Apart from fulfilling tourists' daily needs for recreation, tourism can also provide regional income. A lot of tourist information is still not appropriate. So there needs to be accurate information to disseminate tourist information. Dissemination of information Tourist objects that use geographic information to spread the word that each area has tourist attractions that can be visited by tourist visitors. For this reason, an information system is needed that can provide information on tourist attractions in Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency. The results of this research create an application that can help tourists find information on tourist locations more quickly and accurately using an Android smartphone. This application is also a means of promotion for tourism in Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency.
