When considering cars, it is important to prioritize efficiency, comfort, safety, and affordability. Hence, there is a want for a tool that can assist pupils in ascertaining the optimal car based on specific parameters. The objective of the research is to develop and execute a Decision Support System (DPS) that simplifies the process for students to select the optimal car by considering pertinent parameters. The system employs the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) technique, which is widely utilized in multi-criteria decision-making due to its simplicity and its capacity to provide lucid and comprehensible outcomes. The planning process of the SPK commences by identifying crucial factors for student automobile selection, including fuel efficiency, maintenance costs, comfort, safety features, and pricing. Each criterion is assigned a weight according to its level of significance. The car data is subsequently inputted into the system, and each car is assessed based on the defined criteria. The SAW technique is employed to get the overall score of each car by aggregating the outcome of the intersection between the criterion value and the assigned weight. The car that receives the greatest score is regarded as the optimal selection. This method aims to enhance students' ability to make informed and optimal judgments when selecting cars, enabling them to fulfill their requirements within a constrained budget. Furthermore, the method is anticipated to offer enhanced comprehension regarding the diverse car choices accessible in the market, consequently assisting students in gaining a more comprehensive understanding of the benefits and drawbacks of each option. The research also enhances the advancement of information technology in facilitating intricate and varied decision-making procedures.
2024-10-03T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Juan Edbert Sinaga, Nor Anisa //komnet.politala.ac.id/index.php/komnet/article/view/48 Internet Of Things Designed Temperature Monitoring System 2024-09-26T07:12:04+00:00 Tira Margaret tira.margaret@student.unism.ac.id Nor Anisa noranisa@unism.ac.id
The development of Internet of Things (IoT) technology has opened up many opportunities to build environmental monitoring systems that are more efficient and affordable. In this research, we developed an IoT-based temperature monitoring system using Arduino Uno hardware, TMP36 temperature sensors, LEDs, and resistors. The system built consists of hardware including Arduino Uno, TMP36 temperature sensor, LED, and resistors. The TMP36 temperature sensor is used to measure the temperature of a certain environment and send the data to the Arduino Uno. The Arduino Uno then processes the temperature data and controls the LED to display temperature information. The system is also equipped with a web-based user interface that allows users to monitor temperatures in real time and receive notifications if temperatures exceed specified limits. Test results show that this IoT-based temperature monitoring system can provide accurate temperature information in real time. Users can easily monitor and receive temperature information via the web interface and receive notifications if the temperature exceeds the specified limits. This system has also proven to be relatively cheap to build and easy to implement. This research contributes to the development of IoT solutions for monitoring environmental temperature that can be used in various fields such as industry, household and agriculture. This system is expected to increase efficiency, comfort and safety in dealing with environmental conditions.
2024-10-03T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Tira Margaret, Nor Anisa //komnet.politala.ac.id/index.php/komnet/article/view/46 IOT Implementation Plan For Anti-Theft Alarm System Using Pir Sensor 2024-09-26T07:04:59+00:00 Desvira Annisa desvira.annisa@student.unism.ac.id Nor Anisa noranisa@unism.ac.id
A house is the main need for shelter for everyone. We must look after and maintain all household equipment and the items in it properly. However, theft of home property usually occurs when the house is empty. This research aims to help secure a room with a room security system by providing a warning in the form of a sound indicator from a buzzer and sending a message from the GSM SIM to the cellphone. The room security system was designed using the prototype method. The results of this research show that the system and tools are able to run well. The PIR sensor is capable of detecting movement at a distance of 5 meters and is able to provide alerts in the form of a buzzer sound and send messages. So that these systems and tools can be applied to room security in everyday life. This security system uses an Arduino Uno r3 microcontroller which is connected to a PIR sensor, Buz/Buzzer and Slideswitch (Slide Switch). The PIR sensor will detect movement that causes changes in voltage. The change in voltage from the sensor will then be used as input data by the micro controller and processed so that the LCD lights up and the buzzer/alarm sounds. This security system is able to detect the presence of humans who enter the sensor's coverage area, then the body temperature emitted by the human will be detected and then the sensor will be active.
2024-10-03T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Desvira Annisa, Nor Anisa //komnet.politala.ac.id/index.php/komnet/article/view/49 Decision Support System for Loan Granting 2024-10-03T04:02:05+00:00 Rizky Aulia Akbar aulia.akbar@student.unism.ac.id Nor Anisa noranisa@unism.ac.id
The aim of this research is to improve the Decision Support System (SPK) in purchasing credit loans. A key finding of this study is the requirement for financial institutions to have effective tools for calculating loan-to-value ratios to reduce the risks associated with credit failure. The analysis methods used include collecting credit history data, analyzing factors that influence credibility, and developing fuzzy logic algorithms. The developed system is then evaluated using non-public data from financial institutions to assess accuracy and reliability. Research findings show that this system can increase the accuracy of credit reporting compared to the manual method used previously. The main finding of this research is that fuzzy logic-based SPK training can be an effective tool to assist financial institutions in the loan application process, thereby reducing credit risk and increasing operational efficiency. The research results show that the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method can increase the accuracy of credit worthiness assessments. The SAW method has been proven to increase accuracy and reliability in the assessment process. The use of various criteria such as income, credit history, debt ratio, employment, and collateral provides more comprehensive results. This research also shows that fuzzy logic is able to handle uncertain and subjective data, so it can help financial institutions make better decisions.
2024-10-03T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Rizky Aulia Akbar, Nor Anisa //komnet.politala.ac.id/index.php/komnet/article/view/47 Computer Network Analysis And Design Case Study Of Sari Mulia University CBT Lab 2024-09-26T07:07:12+00:00 Risky Pebriana rizky.pebriana@student.unism.ac.id Nor Anisa noranisa@unism.ac.id
Computer networks have become a vital element in the digital era, and their topology is the key to the effectiveness of all systems. This research identifies the network topology used by Sari Mulia University, especially in the CBT room. The method used was a semi-structured interview with the resource person: Mr. Fajar (university network administrator). The research results show that Sari Mulia University uses the Star Murning topology. The reason is that the Star Murning topology is easy to implement and scalable, but it has the weakness that if the main cable breaks then the entire network is disrupted. The way to overcome this is by repairing the location of the damage or replacing it with a new cable. The central server is connected to one switch, then distributed to routers throughout the campus. In the lab room. CBT has 2 routers, 6 switches, 110 PC units and end users. This research proves that pure star topology supports network effectiveness and reliability. However, pure star topology also has disadvantages. Therefore, this research suggests using a hybrid topology/combination of star and bus. Hybrid topology is not disturbed if a network is disconnected and is easy to implement. The disadvantages are the high cost and potential slowness of the network system.
2024-10-03T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Risky Pebriana, Nor Anisa
