Introduction to the Uniska Banjarmasin Campus Plan for New Students Using Android-Based Augmented Reality Technology

Abstract
Kalimantan Islamic University Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari Banjarmasin is the oldest and largest private university in South Kalimantan. Even though it is not very large, there are still some students who still don't know the floor plan of the UNISKA Banjarmasin campus. Even though in the Introduction to Campus Life (PKK MABA) activity, students received a guidebook, but in this book there was no introduction to the campus plan. With Augmented Reality technology, you can change the manual into a smart, interactive, sophisticated and practical book. Combining campus plans in the form of 3-dimensional virtual objects into real environments in real-time. The method used is the waterfall method which is systematic and sequential in building the system. This application uses the Vuforia library to display floor plan objects in 3 dimensions with the help of markers in the Introduction to Campus Life Guidebook on an Android smartphone. The result of this system is an application that is integrated into the Guidebook for Introduction to Campus Life, which will later help new students get information to get to know the UNISKA Banjarmasin campus plan by displaying every building and room in UNISKA Banjarmasin accompanied by an audio narration explaining the plan of the UNISKA Banjarmasin Campus.
